Miley Cyrus had a busy, busy day today with the release of her comeback single, 'We Can't Stop'!

Legend M started off the day by premiering her single on KIIS FM, taking over Ryan Seacrest's co-hosting duties. Listen to the interview below:

Miley Cyrus: 'We Can't Stop' Is 'Where I'm at in My Life Right Now' by On Air with Ryan Seacrest

Miley then took a private jet up to Silicon Valley for meetings with Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, & more. She logged online a few times today for Q&A sessions with fans (though Spreecast crashed twice because too many fans were online!).

The 'We Can't Stop' singer was also joined by an MTV camera crew today--- they're apparently filming for a documentary that will be released later this year.

Rounding the day out, 'We Can't Stop' went #1 on iTunes!

Check out some of Miley's Q&A answers behind the jump, along with pics from her busy day.

Selena Gomez talks about forthcoming "Stars Dance" album

$

Track listing:

  1. Birthday

  2. Slow Down- If you preorder the album TONIGHT you get this song.

  3. Stars Dance

  4. Like A Champion

  5. Come and Get It

  6. Forget Forever

  7. Love Will Remember

  8. Save The Day

  9. Beat

  10. Write Your Name

  11. Undercover

Feel of the songs in her own words:

1) Birthday- Its definitely a Hollaback girl/Gwen Stefani kinda song. Its different from any other song she's done. You're supposed to go "WHAT WAS THAT?" and she wants everyone to listen this one first.
2) Slow Down-  Producers are the Cataracts. The beat changes and its a bit of a vibe (speeds up and slows down) reflects about slowing the moment down. The bridge is selenas fave part.
3) Stars dance- Beautiful and sensual. Has a soft feel to it, but also exudes confidence. Lyrics: "I can make the stars dance" talks about the place shes in, wanting to be confident, and exude that.
4)Like a champion- Has an Island-y feel from when she toured in South America and wanted to put that kind of vibe into her album. She heard this song and told producers she wanted it to have a Spanish and Reggae style. Definitely will make you feel like you want to go to Jamaica and South America
5) Come and Get it- Y'all heard this so go to itunes tbh.  Talks about the "tribal"ness of the song and loving the culture....
6) Forget Forever- love song and its her anthem. its about forgetting troubles and the past.
7) Save the day- The first song she heard. She was touring in SA so it has a "Spanish vibe". Not wanting the sun to come up and living in that special moment.
8) Beat- Fun song. Inspired by Drake and Rihanna and more urban based songs. This song is about the beat of the song. loves the way she feels when the song comes on. its "dope"
9) Write your name- About the moment you fall in love. Makes her want to do a lyrical dance..whatever that is.
10) Undercover- One of her faves.  By the cataracs as well. Before this song she'd never had the confidence to do weird melodies but she had fun with the verses this time around
11) Love will remember- Rock Mafia song. Not wanting to live with any regrets with any of the people in your life. At the end of the day, " love will remember"

About Stars Dance Tour:
First tour was her expressing her love for her fans and "kind of" attempting to dance ( she doesnt know if she did well because she needed more practice. This tour Selena wants to tell a story and will perform every song on this album on tour unlike previous tours. Since shes performing all of the songs she wants to tell a story because the entire album has a different sound. She wants to have fun video segments and a lot of choreography. Inspired by Janet Jackson, Brit Brit. There will also be parts where there wont be anyone on aet but her and her band. Also expect to hear remixes to her older songs instead of their usual sounds
Stage will be a "S" shape. It will allow for better connection and see the audiences connection.
About  Emblem 3:
She likes their music. Met them for the first time at the BBMA.
Favorite places to perform:
Dallas because its great to go home and have all of her family go.

Looking forward togoing to:
Going to America, Europe, South America ( I think), and Canada

Best thing about being on tour:
Meeting her fans (through meet and greets) and being on stage.

Starts 30 minutes in

New pics from Ross Lynch & Maia Mitchell's "Teen Beach Movie"!

$

"Do these photos look a little too earnest for a tale set in the 20-teens? There’s a reason for that: Disney Channel’s Teen Beach Movie stars Maia Mitchell and Ross Lynch — pictured above, with Garrett Clayton (far left) and Grace Phipps (far right) — as McKenzie and Brady, a pair of modern-day beach bunnies who find themselves mysteriously transported into a fluffy ’60s beach movie. (Think Pleasantville, plus music, minus nude paintings of Joan Allen.)

The Mouse has big plans for Teen Beach Movie. From now through July 13, it’s promoting the film via a mall tour that will travel from New York to San Antonio. The net will post a preview of the film on VOD Monday, July 15; its soundtrack, currently available for pre-order on iTunes, drops the next day; and the film itself finally premieres Friday, July 19. An encore presentation on July 20 will give viewers the chance to chat live with the movie’s stars, while Sing Along and Dance Along editions of Teen Beach will air July 21 and July 27, respectively."

According to some screenshots on obsessedwithdemi on Tumblr from various fans (and haters, apparently), Demi has been DM'ing her fans again. I feel like we're back in 2011, only this time she's a lot gentler with her messages.

The first one is directed at @MDDNAA for calling @lohanthony the "F" word

"BYE" + "If you're a "true lovatic" why'd you just call me a bitch?"

and one positive DM to someone!

Oh, Demi...

Exclusive: Miley Cyrus barnstorms Silicon Valley to tout single 'We Can't Stop'

Monday was a busy day for Miley Cyrus. The Hannah Montana star and platinum-selling singer's latest single, "We Can't Stop," made its debut, and Cyrus was up bright and early to promote it on LA's pop powerhouse KIIS-FM with host Ryan Seacrest. Then it was off to Silicon Valley for a full day of meetings with the technorati about how to push the party groove into a summertime hit.

Not so long ago, an artist debuting a song would sit down with DJs and the merchandizing folks at place like Walmart to make sure it got good airplay and prime position on store shelves. But Cyrus, befitting a tech-savvy 20-year-old, was talking shop with social-media honchos at Facebook and Twitter, including the latter's new Vine video service.

"This is kind of the tech mothership," she said. "If you can get them behind you, it's more powerful than any label." She also likes the fact that social networks let her talk directly to her fans -- even though, she admits, sometimes that means filtering what's on her mind.
And, befitting a woman who's sold more than 20 million albums and sits on the Forbes list of richest entertainers, Cyrus had access Monday to the valley A-listers, including Twitter CEO Dick Costolo and Instagram founder Kevin Systrom.
She also went to Zuckerberg Media, run by Mark's big sister Randi, to hold a live video chat via Spreecast;
unfortunately, it was so popular that the service crashed.
"We had a huge influx of people,"
Spreecast CEO Jeff Fluhr apologetically explained later. "The only two that have ever brought down the site like that are Britney Spears and this one."

Cyrus planned to finish the day at Apple (AAPL), where she was booked to sit down with "the entire music division at iTunes," according to her manager, Adam Leber (who also reps Spears). Guess Britney's other manager is also managing her?"We Can't Stop" was the top-selling single on iTunes shortly after its release Monday.
Cyrus said she wanted to launch the new song via social media to reward her 12 million Twitter followers, who lit up the social network with anticipation after she tweeted at last month's Billboard Music Awards that the single was on its way.
"Radio's really important," she said, "but it's not really the way my fans are listening to music. Most of them are on Spotify or YouTube or whatever."
Cyrus thinks Hollywood and Silicon Valley have much to teach one another; executives she met with Monday asked how to make their products even more useful for big-name entertainers. "I think it's dope that they're asking the artists," she said. "We do as much for them as they do for us, so it's kind of a good tradeoff."
High on her wish list was a way to keep "haters" from filling an artist's fan pages and Twitter streams with vitriol.
She even put a high-tech twist on her trip logistics: Cyrus flew to the valley via BlackJet, a booking service for private jets backed by the likes of Marc Benioff and ex-MySpace CEO Mike Jones, and she was shuttled from meeting to meeting via a fleet of SUVs booked on Uber. Meanwhile, an MTV documentary crew was following her every move. All in a day's work, her handlers shrugged.
