Miley Cyrus says she literally can’t stop.

The former Hannah Montana star, now 20, says her new single We Can’t Stop perfectly sets the stage for her forthcoming fall album and 2014 tour.

“People don’t realize actually how pun-ny it is when I’m doing things,” Cyrus says in a Manhattan hotel room.

“They’re like, ‘It really feels like you can’t stop.’ ‘It is!’ ... What is making my (new) record consistent is the fact that (the songs are) all different and that’s where I am. I’m at a point where it’s like I know who I am, but I’m know that I’m not finished figuring that out and I won’t finished be until I’m in the dirt.

As for the accompanying We Can’t Stop video, which so far has 75 million YouTube hits, Cyrus, sporting short blonde hair, thinks she knows why it’s made such an impression.

People are watching like, ‘Cute cat plays with yarn,’ for three hours a lot more than they’re watching anyone else’s music video. And it’s because it makes them happy, it makes them laugh, whatever,” says Cyrus, who’s engaged to actor Liam Hemsworth (and wearing her ring on this day).

So I wanted my video to make people laugh ‘cause I’m the first one to make jokes at myself. My godmother is Dolly Parton who is constantly making fun of herself. She’s like, ‘It takes a lot of money to look this cheap, honey.’ ... I wanted the video to be that kind of confident.”

And Cyrus, in head-to-toe black save for some gold vintage Chanel gun-shaped earrings, loves her fashion. Wearing a Phillip Lum leather halter, pearl-lined Moschino shorts, and Versace platform boots, she adds, “I’m good in heels. I’m balanced. Always been.”

Her short ‘do - which seemed to signal the beginning of this new phase in her life - speaks to that.

No one would have planned a haircut to change my life,” Cyrus says. “I didn’t plan a haircut to change my life. I just cut my hair and then it really changed my lfe. There’s something about having no hair that it screams being confident. And I think especially because people like to put people in a box, I mean the names I’ve been called since I cut my hair.

“Everyone said I was a lesbian but I’m like, ‘Being a lesbian isn’t a bad thing. So if you think I look like I’m a lesbian, I’m not offended. You can call me much worse.’ I’ve been called much worse. Being a lesbian is a compliment more than what else they call me.”

Cyrus is on a roll now.

“People think short hair, they think tom boy ... and I’ve obviously done the opposite ‘cause when I cut my hair, I did my first Maxim cover where I got No. 1 (in their annual hot list). And it wasn’t about me being the sexiest. It was about the fans voting. But it’s something I loved. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Maxim cover with a girl with short hair.”

The girl group, which finished in third place after being formed by Simon Cowell, kicks off a revamped format for the popular program.

One year after auditioning as individuals for Fox's reality competition The X Factor, girl group Fifth Harmony is poised to become Radio Disney's Next Big Thing.

After five successful seasons, N.B.T. relaunches as a year-round showcase to introduce industry newcomers who are on the cusp of stardom. The revamped program will chronicle each artist's journey from being discovered to becoming music's "next big thing." Fifth Harmony -- composed of Ally Brooke, Normani Hamilton, Lauren Jauregui, Camila Cabello and Dinah Jane Hansen -- will kick off the new platform as the first featured artist and will be spotlighted during the world premiere of the Disney Channel original movie Teen Beach Movie on Friday, July 19 at 8 p.m.

After finishing in third place on The X Factor's second season in December, Fifth Harmony was promptly signed to Epic Records and Syco Entertainment. They are currently in the studio working on their debut album, on track for a fall release.

"Radio Disney is proud to be recognized as a first home for many of today's popular young artists, including Selena Gomez, Cher Lloyd, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift and Austin Mahone," said Phil Guerini, vp programming and general manager at Radio Disney. "This exciting evolution of N.B.T. elevates our commitment to being the first to introduce our audience to tomorrow's next big music stars. And we are honored to be joining forces with the industry legend L.A. Reid, Epic Records and Syco Entertainment to introduce Fifth Harmony as the initial act to launch our new format."

Said Reid, chairman of Epic Records: "It gives me great pleasure to partner with Radio Disney to launch America's Next Big Thing, Fifth Harmony."

In its first five seasons, N.B.T. put the spotlight on more than 30 undiscovered and unsigned young recording artists, providing them with the chance to showcase their music across national broadcasts and online platforms as part of a musical talent competition. The program launched the careers of Allstar Weekend, Coco Jones and Kicking Daisies, among, others since its inception in 2009.

Fifth Harmony, meanwhile, have already released their debut single, "Miss Movin' On," and will unveil their next effort, "Me & My Girls," as a Radio Disney exclusive on July 16.

The new multiplatform endeavor will give fans behind-the-scenes access, including video from inside the recording studio to video shoots and concert tours across the country. Viewers can tune in on Disney Channel, Radio Disney,, and on social media, as well as live Radio Disney events in local markets.

Fifth Harmony is on track for big exposure this summer, with a scheduled appearance on NBC's Today later this month and a nationwide mall tour currently in the works.

Selena Gomez visited "The Morning Hub" to answer questions from her fans on Twitter. She shared that her most embarrassing moment was when she recently hid under a table to recollect herself after meeting Brad Pitt. Her favorite part of touring is to see her fans from all around the world but it gets hard when she is away from her friends and family for so long.

When Phoebe's brother Tyler (played by Chris Zylka) holds a party at the cemetery, Jo and Lacey press Danny to reveal the secrets he's been keeping and end up spilling one of their own. Danny suffers the consequences of a mishap on the soccer team and Lacey defends Danny against Archie's increasingly vicious verbal attacks. Meanwhile, Rico confronts Jo about her obsession with Danny's case. Karen fails at a job interview, and Kyle seizes an opportunity to win her trust.

    Sneak Peek

Avan's acting is very good, like, I'm so up I'm the air about his character... Glad Danny's making friends...

I don't care for Danny and Lacy as a couple...

    So...Danny's dad & Jo's mom...had a thing?

Also, looking at the comments on Youtube, someone posted, "What if Regina is a relative to Danny and that's why she had the necklace (family heirloom), and it was given to her by Danny's dad since he is alive?" - That definitely would be Twisted! What do you think?

This is the first time we're hearing a live vocal of Demi Lovato's "Two Pieces!" She performed the song along with a bunch of others at the soundcheck for her upcoming Pop Tarts concert.

Hopefully this means the song makes it into her set-list at the concert!

After a four-year gap since their last album, many fans have been left ‘jonesing’ for some Jonas, but all that ends when their new album V, in honour of their fifth studio release drops later this fall. Joining us in our ET Canada studio, Joe Jonas tells Rick Campanelli the group’s new music is worth the wait: “We went in studio originally and we felt like it wasn’t right. So we looked at each other and said maybe we should take a little bit more time. We ended up getting back in the studio six months later and something clicked.”

It’s not just time that enriches their music, it’s also life experiences and that’s all part of their new winning formula. “I think it’s important to live a little, make some babies… live a little bit of life prior to writing about it,” says Kevin Jonas, who just announced last week he and his wife Danielle are expecting their first child.

So what’s in store for the little Jonas on-the-way? Kevin’s siblings say he’ll make a wonderful dad, but will probably be a bit of a pushover. “He’s going to spoil the kid for sure,” says Nick. While Joe adds, “if it’s a girl, it’s a wrap. She’ll actually live in the Disney castle.”

Speaking of Disney, they aren’t the only stars from the network to go from child actor to superstar. Miley Cyrus is also making waves with her edgier music this year, and Nick who dated the former Hannah Montana star says he couldn’t be more happy for his ex. “It’s great to see that she can continue to be successful and make the kind of music she wants to make,” he says. “It’s really interesting right now. If you look at who are on top of the pop charts right now, you’ve got Miley, Demi and Selena and we’re happy to be back on our game.”

Of course being together on tour for so long means there’s bound to be some bickering between bros! And tonight they dish about sibling rivalry on ET Canada starting at 7:30 ET/PT.
