"Four months after the premiere date was announced for Disney XD's latest Marvel animated series, Marvel's Hulk and the Agents of SMASH, the new show made its world debut at Comic-Con."

During Marvel Television's Saturday panel, an episode of the upcoming Hulk and the Agents of SMASH series played to attendees in San Diego, but The Hollywood Reporter exclusively debuts a never-before-seen clip from a forthcoming episode of the anticipated show.

In the scene at the source, a livid Hulk is seen going after Tony Stark in the tense, action-filled moment.

Hulk and the Agents of SMASH follows Hulk, She-Hulk, A-Bomb, Red Hulk and Skaar, who form an unlikely family, living under one roof, battling villains and proving to the world that they are not monsters. The series was previously slated for a Sunday, Aug. 11 launch with back-to-back episodes from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. (A new episode of Marvel's Avengers Assemble follows from 12-12:30 p.m.)
The hourlong premiere begins with the two-part "Doorway to Destruction," where Hulk's best friend, Rick Jones, begins making a web series to show the world Hulk is a hero followed by the newly formed Agents of SMASH invading the Negative Zone to stop Annihilus.

Disney XD is making available the premiere episode of Hulk and the Agents of SMASH on iTunes for a free download from Aug. 5 to 11.

Hulk and the Agents of SMASH features a voice cast that includes Fred Tatsciore, Clancy Brown, Seth Green, Eliza Dushku and Ben Diskin. Executive producers include Jeph Loeb, co-EP Joe Quesada, creative consultant Paul Dini and supervising producers Todd Casey, Cort Lane and Henry Gilroy."

Miley Cyrus has revealed she begged Justin Bieber to take a break from showbiz following his total public meltdown earlier this year.

The former Hannah Montana actress grew up in the limelight just like Biebs – so she felt she was qualified to tell her friend to take a break from it all.

Miley, 20, desperately wants 19-year-old Justin to move on after videos of him behaving erratically emerged in March.

She told the Sunday People :“I told Justin to take a bit of time out and people aren’t so obsessed with you and nit-pick.

“When you’re not around, all they want is your music. They want to see what the next thing is. But when your music is out they just want to talk s*** about you.

“When you’re a worldwide star, everyone sees everything. Lots of people make a video and put it on Instagram, some people might think it’s funny but because it’s Justin Bieber, it’s like really bad.

“I always tell him just to be cool and not talk about it because when you talk it fuels the fire. He’s still stupid though. But everyone does dumb stuff when they are messed up.”

Miley, who is promoting her first single in the UK, We Can’t Stop, which is out on August 4, also broke her silence on critics who have accused her of losing too much weight.

She is said to have shed more than a stone since her rumoured split from Liam Hemsworth – but puts it down to healthy eating.

Speaking at London’s Soho Hotel, she said: “All I do is work so I eat to keep me going.

“I’m always on the road so I eat healthily as I have to give my body what it needs. If you don’t you will crash and burn.

“The s***** part about my travels is that I don’t get to work out. I do yoga and ten salutes to the sun every day then I do 30 push ups, I try to do quick things – not to stay in shape but to get my mind right.”

The video to her new hit had to be toned down because she was “spanking” someone in it. So what does her daddy, Billy Ray with the Achy Breaky Heart, think?

“In my video I am getting spanked. In the original I was spanking too but you guys made me take it out. They said no gyrating. Dad doesn’t care, he is famous for shaking his a*** too.”

There is no question her Disney days are behind her.

Did you know Miley Cyrus has a fan who has 18 tattoos of her face on his body? Well it’s true, she told us so herself!

Miley was on heat radio with heat’s editor-in-chief, Lucie Cave, to speak about her new single We Can’t Stop.

Feeling the love in the heat radio studio Miley gets down and deep about her new music video, which she says is “inspired by true events”.

The 20-year-old told us of her video, “It’s all inspired by true events from things that have happened in real life, real parties.

“Then some of it where the deer looks in the mirror that’s supposed to represent people like when he’s seeing multiple of himself, if you’ve seen the video, and he’s looking at himself and he looks really sad.

“It’s kind of the one that looks like the dork that’s dressed up to try and fit in and be cool.”

Miley has no trouble fitting in with producers like Pharrell Williams by her side.

She told us that she constantly texts Pharrell about her day to inspire him to make a track for her.

Miley told us, “Pharell is kind of like a brother so him and I just get in the studio and just work.

“Even if it’s not necessarily for my record we’re just always together and I tell him more than I probably tell anyone else just because you know he’s not gonna say anything and it’s not gonna turn out like he’s gonna make a track out of it.

“Also when you’re feeling a certain way I can just text him to inspire him to make a new track for me.”

Good days or bad days are the same thing when inspiring music for Miley. Whatever mood she is in she will manage to pass over the info to Pharell.

She said, “I mean, don’t ask me to name a song because I can’t do that but I know what they look like.

“I think I met Harry? I think backstage once.

The promo is so naughty MTV UK bosses sent her 18 pages of edits they wanted made before they would air it. The vid sees Miley twerking and French kissing a blow-up doll. Miley told me: “Britney or Madonna – none of the best pop artists ever played it safe.

“It’s so lame because you can shoot people in a movie but you can’t show someone going like this.” She simulates oral sex.

“The world is in such a f***ed up place. The last thing people need to be worrying about is my cute little video for We Can’t Stop.

“I wanted it to be gritty as everything is about Instagram and things going viral anyway.

“I feel like I live in a different world – I live in LA and I see everything. As for whether I’m singing ‘party’ with Miley or Molly, it depends.

“If you’re 10, it’s Miley, if you know what I’m talking about then you know what I’m talking about…” And what she’s talking about is Ecstasy.

I caught up with the self-assured 20-year-old at a playback of songs from her new album.

Miley has delivered the most credible teen pop transition I’ve ever heard.

Drive, which she co-wrote with producer Mike Will, is a worldwide smash in the making.

Wrecking Ball, which she did with Dr Luke, is an epic ballad and 4×4 featuring Nelly, 38, and produced by Pharrell, is a nod to her Nashville country roots.

Miley continued: “I feel I’m in a generation that understands things, rather than the suits.

“If you see me out and about, you know who I am. Actions speak louder than words.

“I’m not like anyone else who has come up and tried to prove something – I’ve already proved it.”

Confident but not cocky about her talent, it’s no wonder the cream of the music biz lined up to work with Miley on this album, which will help her shed the Hannah Montana TV persona for good. She revealed: “Everyone has to work on things they don’t really care about before ending up where they want to be.

“I wanted to be able to get here, when I was older, and do what I want, and not have to work for money or get famous.” Miley learned a lot from being in the studio with Pharrell, 40, who is behind some of 2013’s biggest hits – Get Lucky with Daft Punk and 36-year-old Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines.

She explained: “He’s dope. He is who he is in the music industry but also in the fashion industry. He’s an entrepreneur and so smart. I always tried to listen in on that kinda stuff. He’s made his name so much bigger than just music. When he comes on the radio you immediately know it’s Pharrell. That’s really important for artists.”

We Can’t Stop is out next Sunday.

Miley Cyrus spells out new love

WHEN Justin Bieber and Rihanna come to town they usually leave a trail of destruction behind them.

But US pop star Miley Cyrus has been too busy watching sleepy Channel 4 daytime show Countdown to cause any trouble. If ever there’s been an unsolvable conundrum this is it!

Chatting to me at her album playback this week, Miss Cyrus gushed: “I was jetlagged the other day and started watching this grandma version of Jeopardy called Countdown.

“It was a word game but they do maths as well.

“I thought it was really weird at first but then I became obsessed. I was going to start following the host on going to start following the host on Twitter because I liked it so much.”

Miley has sold 50 million albums since finding fame aged 13 playing Disney creation Hannah Montana.

In contrast, ratings for the housewives’ favourite, which first aired 11 years before Miley was born, have now fallen to a new low of 260,000 viewers.

But that didn’t seem to bother Billy Ray’s daughter, who added: “I loved solving the problems.

“I woke up my assistant at 6am to tell him to watch it. I need to work out how to watch it again.”

While Britney Spears, Bieber and Demi Lovato have struggled making the transition from child star to adult, Miley has so far come off unscathed to the public eye.

But behind closed doors she But behind closed doors she admitted she was “f**ked up”, saying: “I have so many f**king issues. I’m so f**ked up. But aren’t we all?

“I think everyone has issues, it’s just that most of us don’t have pictures taken of us when we are going through them.”

Defending Justin Bieber’s recent brat-like antics she revealed: “I called Justin after he was caught peeing in a mop bucket to offer my advice.

“I just told him to be cool and not talk about it because that fuels the fire. But having said that he’s still stupid.”

"Andrews will play Jafar — the main villain in Disney’s 1992 film Aladdin. The super-secret casting was just announced during the Wonderland panel, with Andrews surprising fans by taking the stage.

"I’m proud and thrilled to be back with ABC on an exciting and unique new show!" said Andrews in a statement to EW. “This role will be a real departure from any animated versions because of the layered emotions and complexities involved with making him a real three-dimensional character."

Showrunner Edward Kitsis said on the panel that Jafar will part of the show starting with the season premiere. “We absolutely had this character in mind and we knew we wanted Naveen to play it. We asked him he said yes and we said lets save it for Comic-Con … it’s going to be very frightening."

'Wonderland' premieres Thursday, Oct. 10 at 8 p.m.

"Sources tell THR that Smulders is so far set for a one-off cameo role in the pilot because she's contractually committed to CBS' How I Met Your Mother, though the actress could return for another similar spot in the future.

On Friday at Comic-Con in San Diego, ABC and Marvel were to screen the pilot for SHIELD during a panel set for Ballroom 20. The pilot was not included in the typical freshman series screeners sent to critics in May in an effort to keep the news under wraps. Whedon is slated to be joined by "surprise guests" during the session. It was unclear if Smulders, who will be at Comic-Con for How I Met Your Mother's panel on Saturday, will participate in the SHIELD panel.

"I wanted very much to have Cobie in the pilot because as much as anyone else, she IS SHIELD. She's cool and commanding and has the dry humor that plays so well with Clark's [Gregg]. Also, if she's in it, I get to hang out with Cobie," Whedon said in a statement to THR.

The news comes as Smulders is in production on the ninth and final season of How I Met Your Mother, which hails from producer 20th Century Fox Television.

Whether any of the big-screen talent could follow Smulders and Gregg and pop up on the ABC series remains unclear. Meanwhile, Samuel L. Jackson -- who played Nick Fury in The Avengers and in the upcoming Captain America sequel -- has noted that he'd be open to having some sort of role with the series."

PHILADELPHIA— Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus met on the set of "Hannah Montana" six years ago, long before they became two of the biggest names in pop music. Now, they're competitors at the 2013 Video Music Awards, and despite their very different lifestyles (Demi isn't much of a twerker), Lovato thinks their friendship will last.

"She knows how I feel about the whole partying thing," Lovato told MTV News. "I love her to death and I'm always like, 'Just be careful' and she's like, 'Dude, I'm chilling. It's fine.' But I care for her so much that I'm so protective, but she's good. She's got a good head on her shoulders."

Lovato and Cyrus are facing off in the Best Female Video category at the VMAs. Demi is nominated for her emotional power-pop hit "Heart Attack," while Miley is up for her laid-back party anthem "We Can't Stop."

"I think it's great," Demi said about her friend's latest hit. "I think it's a good song... It's a song a lot of people have fun to and if people are enjoying it, then great."

Just last year, Lovato told MTV News that she steers clear of the partying scene, saying, "I'm crazy with my hair... it's my only form of rebellion, I don't drink, I don't do drugs, I don't party." Cyrus, meanwhile, has been open about her "party animal" image.

Despite their differences, Lovato said she would "absolutely" be down for a collaboration, only if there isn't any twerking involved.

"She's twerking and she looks amazing doing it," Lovato said of Cyrus. "I don't want to do it in public. One, because people are going to be like, 'Oh, who twerks better?' And two, I'm really tired of the word 'twerking.' It's like 'swag', it's like, 'OK, just stop.' Or 'YOLO;' just don't."

Miley Cyrus' parents Billy Ray and Tish have called off their divorce. Maybe his Achy Breaky Heart was too much for her, who knows.

Tish had filed papers asking for a legal separation in June citing 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for their split, but now the couple have decided to save their marriage after dealing with their issues in couples therapy. Tish revealed she and Billy Ray are giving their relationship another chance to E!'s Ken Baker, who revealed: 'I spoke to Tish and she told me they both woke up and realised they love each other and decided they want to stay together. They recently went into couples therapy, something they hadn't done in 22 years of being together, and it's brought them closer together and really opened up their communication in amazing ways.'

Tish has been 'energised' by the therapy sessions and is delighted she and Billy Ray - who have been married for 19 years - are staying together and are not going to become another casualty couple. Ken added: 'She also said marriage can be really hard ... and admitted they've had rough times. But they both realised they didn't want to be another statistic and want to make it work. They went into the therapy with the goal of divorcing in a way that was healthy for the children, but ended up coming out of it with the realisation that they in fact want to stay together. Tish sounds happy and energised about having this fresh start.'

This is the second time the couple have called off a divorce. In March 2011, Billy Ray filed for a legal separation but changed his mind after deciding he didn't want to break up his family. His reason at the time was that Miley's fame had put too much stress on the family.

The Disney Channel 's Teen Beach Movie - which premiered Friday with fresh young talent Garrett Clayton and Maia Mitchell - demonstrates how fashion and entertainment continue to intertwine, setting far-reaching trends and remaining at the forefront of relevancy within the marketplace.

Although the movie is aimed primarily at tweens and teens, the throwback to classic beach party musicals possesses a sense of carefree nostalgia that any generation can relate to, drawing its style inspiration from the fashion forward sixties, the look of which is ubiquitous this summer. Perfect timing since top designers across the globe have recently been showing retro styling, creating numerous sixties-inspired looks skewed towards trend setters and taste makers of any age.

It's a potential marketing machine Disney seems to be banking on. So much so that they've tapped NBC Fashion Star host Louise Roe as well as Daniel Musto, the show's stylist, to act as fashion experts for the made-for-TV teen flick.

Since vintage dressing can be a slippery slope, we caught up with Roe to find out how she does retro without looking like a caricature, as well as which TBM looks go down in her book of favorites.

The Hollywood Reporter: Where do you find inspiration in your own wardrobe for the '60’s looks similar to those in Teen Beach Movie?
Louise Roe: Icons like Edie Sedgwick and Marilyn Monroe, movies like Grease and current fashion blogs - retro 60's looks are all over the runways and sidewalks at the moment.

THR: How can I take a truly vintage piece and make it look trendy versus old and grungy?
LR: Don't wear a vintage look head to toe. Maximum two to three retro pieces per outfit, and mix them in with your modern skinny jeans or sandals. You don't want to actually BE sandy and Danny from Grease, just inspired by them.

THR: What’s one vintage must-have that you think everyone needs?
LR: Cat eye sunglasses, in white.

THR: What is one past trend that you would like to see make a comeback?
LR: I think printed - such as polka dot - scarves worn tight around the neck are very elegant. And they're such an easy, affordable way to make your look super sixties.

THR: Where do you recommend finding vintage pieces?
LR: Flea markets, online, your Mom and Dad's closet!

THR: Any other tips on creating vintage looks?
LR: Don't forget about beauty trends of that era too, search on Instagram for inspiration and perhaps try a rolled quif in your hair, a red lip, and a thin black liquid eyeliner cat-flick.

ABC Family Cancels 'Bunheads'&'The Lying Game'

"From Gilmore Girls' Amy Sherman-Palladino, the critically lauded one-hour ballet drama starring Broadway veteran Sutton Foster had wrapped up its 18-episode first season in February. The cable network opted to wait until after its freshman series premiered to make decisions on its bubble series, which included Bunheads and The Lying Game. There had been conflicting reports earlier this year regarding Bunheads' fate.

"Bunheads is a wonderful series that we are very proud to have aired," an ABC Family spokesperson said Monday. "The series had amazing storytelling, the most talented cast and a passionate and loyal fan base. Recognizing all of this, we took extra time to try and find ways to bring the series back for another season, but in the end it simply wasn’t possible. We wish the cast and crew the best in their future endeavors."

The cancellation comes as ABC Family has continued to find success with its new scripted series. Rookie drama The Fosters continues to set series highs with each new broadcast, most recently ranking as Monday's top scripted TV telecast among women 12-34, as well as No. 2 among women 18-34 and viewers 12-34. Fellow newcomer Twisted opened to a harder-to-gauge 1.6 million viewers, benefiting from the massive return for ABC Family's signature series Pretty Little Liars.

Last week, ABC Family officially canceled The Lying Game, which finished its 10-episode sophomore run in March.

Lying Game actress Alexandra Chando posted the news on her Instagram account: “To our awesome #lyinggame fans, thank you for these two amazing seasons. Unfortunately, Abc Family has decided not to bring us back for a third season. We so wanted to do 10 more for you guys! Thanks for your support and keep up with the cast to see what’s next for us! Xx.”

Bunheads scored a Teen Choice Award nomination for Foster and a Television Critics Award nomination for outstanding achievement in youth programming. Foster won a Gracie Allen Award for her breakthrough role as Michelle, a former Las Vegas showgirl turned ballet teacher in a sleepy coastal town called Paradise.

ABC Family has already renewed Pretty Little Liars, currently in the first half of season four, for a fifth year, and veteran comedy Melissa & Joey for a fourth season, with Baby Daddy and Switched at Birth currently airing. The cable network will launch new drama Chasing Life in early 2014, as well as Pretty Little Liars offshoot Ravenswood in October."
